Deep South Archery is an indoor archery range that caters to everyone. Located at the bottom of New Zealand in Invercargill, Southland.
From the absolute novice to the very experienced. we run a practice night, as well as competition nights. And we are starting up a 3D night. Whether you are a target archer, field shooter, bowhunter or just want to have a go come along
All ages and levels are very welcome here.
Our Indoor Archery Range is in the Southland Hockey Association Hall, which is at the end of Camden Street, Invercargill (Google map is on our Contact Us page)
We are open every Wednesday night from 7pm to 9pm, and every Thursday night from 5pm to 7,30pm.
Bring your own gear or hire ours. Range fees start at $5 per person per session
We have a wide range of bows, both compounds and recurves for hire. We have arrows, finger tabs, arm guards, sights available for use.
We have a number of Archery New Zealand accredited coaches who are willing to get you up to speed or help fine tune your shooting. As well as good education around buying your first bow. there is some stock available for purchase. If you have some archery or bow hunting gear at home that may need some renovation or up grades let us know we may well be able to help.
Our indoor range has a very relaxed atmosphere where the novice can gain good experience and tips, and the experienced can practice and help grow the sport by sharing what they know with others. That being said we do have rules!
